Oh sure, there are plenty of entertaining and even educational things on TV, and sometimes I watch with my wife and kids (usually films we put on the DVD player), but generally I stay away. It was not always so, but at some point it occurred to me that I have a certain number of days to live and I have essentially two ways I can spend them - doing things myself - living! - or watching other people doing things. Suddenly, TV became evil.
