		<description>As a general rule, I don't watch TV.  Oh sure, there are plenty of entertaining and even educational things on TV, and sometimes I watch with my wife and kids (usually films we put on the DVD player), but generally I stay away.  

It was not always so, but at some point it occurred to me that I have a certain number of days to live and I have essentially two ways I can spend them - doing things myself - living! - or watching other people doing things.  Suddenly, TV became evil.  

Well, maybe not quite evil, but definitely an unwanted robber of my precious time.

		<description>Personally, I was amazed at how much more free time opened up in my life when I cut out TV. And, of course, that free time was enough for me to start my blog and get it up and running. :P
