Take Another Link from My Blog Now Babe

Internet business owners are always looking for new ways to build those links in search of traffic.  I know, I know you always hear about article marketing so we will leave this method to the side for todays post.  One quick and easy way to build a link is to link to someone else.  Sounds a little wack doesn’t it?  If I write about something cool and link to someone else what does that do for me?  Well you are creating aa link that can possibly send out a ping to another blog.

There are several blog platforms including Wordpress, Movable Type and Typo that have an automatic function whereby when someone links to you, you receive a notification of the link.  In many cases, you may receive a track back in the form of a comment.  I am not sure about you but many times when I receive a track back in the form of a comment I allow it to post.  So what is a occurring, is a a mutual link of sorts back to the site that linked to me.  Hey a little link reciprocation never hurt no body…see what I am saying?

The next time you are crawling around the blogosphere and you come across an informative post make mention of it on your site and include a full html link to the site.  You may be astounded to find a flood of traffic from highly popular sites when you link to them because they may allow your track back on their site.  Voila, you share a cool site with your blog viewers and they may share a link to your site for their viewers

  2. You can also search for people that use comment love. in Google search for “Enable CommentLuv which will try and get your last blog post, please be patient while it finds it for you” followed by your keyword. You will find people that use comment love and your keyword, so their link back will matter!

I have been posting comments on the people that submitted a blog carnival post, and I found that this week only 50% of the posts had the trackback work, and I have no clue why.

Thanks for the reminder (on a day when I am failing horribly on the subject).
