Most people wonder when Google begins to page rank whether you are seeking to increase your page rank or finally be ranked for the first time. I noticed just yesterday that my new blog had a page rank of three assigned to it. So what does this mean? Well for beginners Google awknowledges my blog is alive and kicking, but it also means I now have about three months to kick it into high gear to increase my page rank in the next quarter of the year.
If you have just started a blog it is a perfect time to begin to build as many links as possible to help boost your page rank and traffic. So what is the big deal? Well at least for me, it gives me a time line to take into consideration when stretching out my blog promoting activities. What do you need to do in order to boost your rank or get ranked next time? Build those links by submitting to blog carnivals and hosting them, comment on other blogs, write articles, be certain to keep fresh content rolling on your blog, submit your site to free link directories, submit your blog posts to Blogging Zoom and comment in forums using your blog page as part of your signature.
The benefits here will be two fold as I mentioned prior, you will enhance your page rank but also get your link out there for organic traffic to begin rolling into your site. If you make a regular weekly schedule for yourself and plug away before you know it the next page rank will roll around and your site will reap the benefits of your efforts!
