Have you ever visited a blog to read an article only to find that the article itself was the size of a postage stamp because there were so many banners and affiliate links plastered all over the place? Why is it that some blogs suffer from affiliate fungus while others some how still create a profit without using this method? After all you notice this blog doesn’t have banners and links plastered all over it….
The answer can be found in James Brausch’s book called The Internet Business Book Volume 1. As an intern I have discovered that I can actually make money without having to sell off every square inch of my blog. The idea he presents is one of duality, create an information page that keeps readers coming and create seperate sales pages. Each page has a purpose and it is fairly easy to transfer traffic back and forth in a more natural way using things like anchor text when discussing one of your products and services.
The book is available at Amazon and I highly recommend joining the intern program and reading through the book. In just a few weeks you can free yourself from affiliate wallpaper and enjoy a wider variety of readers that are more likely to flow over to your sales pages rather then become repelled by them. In fact if you surf around the web you are likely to find a multitude of these types of pages where all of the content is presented in a clear and concise manner without any blog bling. It is completely possible to be informative and reap a profit at the same time. You will have to take the time to read the book to find out more!
