The aim of monetized blogs is always to make money plain and simple. It is difficult to see a continuous stream of revenue if you market junk products or information. As discussed in some previous posts, it is much easier to get someone to buy after they have seen the product several times. The best way to do this is to present valuable information on your blog in order to keep the readers coming back and to avoid fatigue in your mailing lists.
Concepts to ponder… are you writing about information that is so general that most everyone already knows it? Are you writing about information or topics that are so technical that the average reader can not comprehend it? Do your posts consist of a bunch of internet marketing jargon? Lastly who are you readers? It is highly probably that many of the readers you write for are absolute newbies or intermediates. Try to angle the presentation of the blog to these types of visitors to increase visits, subscribers and consequently sales.
The business system can be fairly simple if you think about it… bring in traffic to your site, present quality products and information along with powerful sales pages. Avoid junk and jargon and watch your visitors continue to visit the site repeatedly. In fact give them a reason to do so…would you keep visiting the same web page if the information provided really wasn’t any good? Probably not.
