Post Dating Blog Entries

If you run a blog then you should be posting regularly. If you are like me then you probably find that at certain times during the week you are crunched for time. If you know that your schedule gets hectic at certain times then why not post date your posts. WordPress users have the option of editing the time stamp in the posting area, the post will not actually be published until the time you select if you use the time stamp option.

Use the time you have on a weekend or non busy weekday and write up five or six posts. Edit the time stamp on each of these posts so that they are published atleast once a day. If you have the gumption why not try to write up two posts a day? As you know the more your blog is updated the more love you receive from the search engines. The better your rank in the search engines the higher the likelihood of visitors finding you.

My other recommendation is that you use some of your free time solely for the purpose of reasearch. If you sit for a two hour period you can scour the web to generate a few topics for the upcoming weeks posts. Jot down your ideas and when you sit down to write look back at your notes. It is amazing how many articles you can generate in the course of an hour or two if the research has already been completed!

This is the thing I love most about Wordpress. My schedule is so wonky that I add posts as I can and try to get as far ahead as possible. That way, if I have extra time to do a time-sensitive post I can just bump the scheduled post back a day or two!

  5. To my mind the best recipe for fruitful blog writing is getting to your keyboard when you really have kind of passion, desire to write and to create. Only then you’ll get a worthy story and blog post.

Hello! I also thinking about using WP timing option. I think it`s great idea to write posts on weekend and post them automatically on next week.
