As a recent blogging newbie I am just starting to learn how to monetize my blogs.  I have to say my most recent online discovery has been using blog carnivals.  I really had not come across anyone that was using these until I started interning for James Brausch.  His simple equation for internet success has really opened my eyes.  One of my recent tasks was using Blog Carnival submission.  If you are not already using this tool you are losing thousands of visitors.  If you go to Google and just type in the search term Blog Carnival you can bring up the ever popular Google Blog Carnival.

Okay, so how does this work and what will it do for you?  The Blog Carnival hosts take the entries and turn it into a type of magazine on whatever the particular topic is.  The magazine is hosted on a website and distributed to readers & made searchable by Google, Yahoo, & MSN. If you write a catchy piece you can single handedly present it to several thousand readers and increase your back links on the web.  You may be amazed to find that you receive a thousand or so visitors to you site in a short period of time.

If you are new to blogging and internet business this is a great way to start out.  You can also search to find several different carnivals to submit to.
